The New Business Imperative: Connected Communities
There exists a new imperative for managing and leveraging data as it more deeply connects organizations to their customers, partners and broader communities. These hyper-connected communities are enabling a new business velocity due to increased accessibility to data. With this comes increased accountability for how data is handled and linked to business strategies. The stakes are high: organizations are feeling the imperative to harness the power of data in every industry, and protect and govern it on a global scale across hybrid deployments. How do we manage across increasingly connected communities? What are the challenges? We invite you to join Hortonworks CEO Rob Bearden as he examines the business transformation and opportunity that’s happening across industries.
Rob is the former chief operating officer of both SpringSource and JBoss, two of the most commercially successful open source companies in history. Rob also served in senior roles at Oracle, where he directed a $1 billion sales organization, I2 and Manhattan Associates. Rob has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Jacksonville State University and currently holds the title of Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business.
