NoSQL Day 2019

May 21, 2019

Overview

NoSQL Day 2019

NoSQL Day at DataWorks Summit DC is the community event for Apache HBase, Apache Phoenix, and Apache Accumulo. All HBase, Phoenix and Accumulo contributors, developers, operators, and users of all skill levels are welcome to swap stories and learn from your peers.

The Program Committee is looking for talks about war stories/case studies, internals, development and admin/devops best practices, and futures. Anything you can share that will help others run HBase, Phoenix or Accumulo in production successfully is appreciated. Interesting developments, applications, or deploys as well as updates by ecosystem projects are all welcome.

Speakers

I am a software engineer on the Azure HDInsight Team working on provisioning and operation of open source software on Azure. Specifically I focus on optimizing HBase and Phoenix on Azure as a managed service. In general, my interests lie in algorithms for optimization problems, performance and scale and big data computation. Prior to joining Microsoft I completed my PhD in Computer Science from the University of Iowa.
