Top Big Data trends women and men business leaders need to be aware of

Interested to learn about the most exciting trends in data and analytics? How the landscape of big data is being transformed? What will fizzle out in the background? What skills are needed? How are different organization using data science? You must join us for the Women in Big Data panel and luncheon to share and learn about the top big data trends in 2019. On Wednesday, March 20th 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm, we’ll enjoy a panel discussion with five accomplished data professionals as well as time to network over lunch.

The event is hosted by the Women in Big Data Forum EMEA. Distinguished panelists include:

Hilary Mason photoHilary Mason—General Manager for Machine Learning at Cloudera and founder of Fast Forward Labs, an applied machine learning research and advisory company. Hilary served on New York Mayor Bloomberg’s Technology Advisory Council and was the Chief Scientist at Bitly.

Tina Rosario photoTina Rosario—Head of Data Innovation and Chief Data Officer at SAP. Tina is responsible for SAP’s data governance program across lines of business and for leading the enterprise data strategy across the company. She is also President of the European chapter of Women in Big Data network.

Violeta Ciurel photoVioleta Ciurel—Currently Chief Restructuring Officer for International Markets at AXA Group, Violeta left her role as a university full professor to quickly become CEO of ING Life insurance in Romania. There she developed a passion for developing, coaching, and mentoring people and creating and leading high performing teams.

Ana Gillian photoAna Gillan—A Solutions Engineer at Cloudera who helps organizations to be successful with big data technologies. Ana is an enterprise security and governance guru and she knows how much value data platforms can offer when data is good quality and safely managed. Ana holds a Masters Degree in Data Science and Analytics from Royal Holloway, University of London, a Bachelors Degree in French and German and is a (recently) keen salsa dancer!
Devon Edwards Joseph photoDevon Edwards Joseph—a Data Engineer at Lloyds Banking Group who believes that there is an urgent need to build diversity in her field of Data Science. Devon is the co-organizer of the Artificial Intelligence Club for Gender Minorities, the winner of the Information Age ‘Future Star of Tech in AI’ award, and is on the Young Professionals’ Board of the UK WISE Campaign.
